Cross-publishing IEEE papers on ArXiv

IEEE allows for cross-posting your IEEE paper to arXiv.org. There are some caveats such as that it can't be the version downloaded for IEEE's servers (has to be your own version), and you must include some information; such as the copyright but you can publish it on arxiv. This can be done; before submission, after submission, after acceptence and, I think, even after publication.

Two most relevant sentences:

• "IEEE seeks to maximize the rights of its authors and their employers to post preprint versions of an article on the author’s personal web site, on a server operated by the author’s employer, or on a server operated by an approved not-for-profit third party" [^1]
• "arXiv.org, TechRxiv.org, or any not-for-profit preprint server approved by the Publication Services and Products Board (PSPB)" [^2]
